STOR /subdomains/noettv/httpdocs/UpdateClub.php Now I will describe this briefly, what I need is an enhancement of the following option in filezilla client. STOR /subdomains/noettv/httpdocs/UpdateAssociationResponse.phpġ50 Opening BINARY mode data connection for /subdomains/noettv/httpdocs/UpdateAssociationResponse.phpĬ:\TT\RatingsCentral\Code\Web\UpdateClub.php => Ģ27 Entering Passive Mode (69,72,218,66,18,68). Here is part of the log from a "copy *.php ftp:" command in a btm file:Ģ27 Entering Passive Mode (69,72,218,66,17,31). TCC aborts leaving a file of size zero on the server (which is particularly bad if I was trying to replace an existing file with a newer version). Total Commander doesn't time out, but does pause, resend a command, and finishes the upload.

I've experimented with several FTP clients: FileZilla and WinSCP reconnect and finish the upload. I don't have this problem with two other servers I have access to. I don't know where the problem lies I've discussed this with the hosting company, and the FTP server seems to be configured properly. I have one FTP server that consistently times out when uploading a bunch of files. Interestingly enough, though, I get successful logins every day from other users.I wish that TCC could reconnect when an FTP connection times out so it could finish the operation. I’m supposing this means I’ve misconfigured something on my end.

The GnuTLS error leads me to believe that it’s a firewall issue and that perhaps the client side is blocking the ports that we’re using for the data connection (though it’s my understanding that passive mode is supposed to avoid this problem), but I switched around the passive ports, and the error persists. That said, it was after I did this that started seeing the status message about the unroutable address in the client’s logs. I’ve also gone to “Configure” -> “Interfaces” and checked “Set up PASV IP” and entered my server’s private IP under the correct IP with port 21. I even have 990 forwarded in case anybody wants to connect via implicit FTP. I have a passive port range defined under “Configure” -> “Advanced” and am forwarding those same ports from my router. I checked out the documentation in the link in my server’s log, but I think I have everything configured correctly. Using server address instead.Įrror: GnuTLS error -53: Error in the push function.Įrror: Failed to retrieve directory listing Status: Server sent passive reply with unroutable address.
